Twin Shifts, Logan/Brielle Part 2

The sun beat down on Logan’s bronzed skin as he leaned back in the lounge chair, adjusting his sunglasses. It had been a week since he swapped into Brielle’s body, and at this point, it was second nature.

He had settled into the vacation routine easily—lazy mornings drinking fresh coconut water by the pool, afternoons spent stretched out on the sand in tiny bikinis, and nights filled with cocktails and dancing. He’d cycled through Brielle’s wardrobe of barely-there swimsuits, feeling strangely confident as he strutted around in a red bandeau bikini one day and a skimpy patterned two-piece the next. The body was comfortable now, the sway of his hips, the softness of his skin, the way guys’ eyes lingered whenever he walked by. It was all just part of the experience.

Logan had Cassidy and the rest of Brielle’s friends fooled. He played the role perfectly—smiling for pictures, throwing back shots, laughing at drama he barely cared about. It was easy. Too easy.

And then there was Jake.

He had met him the first night of the trip, a tall, tan guy with dark hair and an easy smirk. A friend of Cassidy’s boyfriend, he had been eyeing Logan—Brielle—since the start of the trip. Logan played it cool at first, sipping his drink, giving small smirks, letting Jake do the work. But something about the chase, the feeling of being wanted in this body, had stirred something unexpected. So when Jake pulled him onto the dance floor, hands settling on his waist, Logan didn’t resist.

One thing led to another, and before he knew it, they were back at Jake’s room, making out against the wall. Logan had meant to keep it surface-level, just a bit of fun, but when Jake kissed down his neck, hands sliding over his curves, Logan let himself feel it. The heat, the excitement. It was new, thrilling, and for the first time, he didn’t think about the swap. He just let go.

Now, lounging in the sun, Logan smirked to himself, adjusting the straps of his bikini. He had spent years swapping bodies, stepping into other people’s lives, but this? This was something else entirely.

And strangely enough, he wasn’t sure he minded.
