Every year, the small town of Elmsworth throws a charming little Easter festival. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, and spring means flower crowns, pastel decorations, and a big community-wide egg hunt that sprawls across parks, backyards, and even the woods at the edge of town.
But this year, something’s… different.
What no one knows—not yet, anyway—is that someone else has joined the festivities. A witch, long hidden in plain sight, has grown bored of simply watching from the shadows. She’s added a twist to this year’s egg hunt: five enchanted eggs, scattered among the plastic candy-filled ones. Harmless-looking, brightly colored, and nearly impossible to tell apart from the others… until they’re opened.
And for the five unlucky—or lucky—people who find them, their lives are about to get a lot more complicated.
